Our Divorce Practice

We work closely with men and women at all stages of a divorce, from the decision to file through post-judgment requests for modification or enforcement of a court order. We focus on a cooperative approach, looking first for ways to amicably resolve disputes regarding custody, visitation, alimony and property settlements. We will do all we can to resolve your differences without the intervention of the court, but have the experience and ability to protect your rights before a judge and jury, if necessary.

We handle all matters arising out of divorce, including:

Under Connecticut's no-fault divorce laws, there is a mandatory 90 day waiting period once a divorce has been filed. We will represent your interests throughout this period, working to obtain agreement on all matters, so that the court will simply dissolve your marriage on agreement after the waiting period is over. If you are unable to reach an agreement, we will handle all filings and act as your advocate in all proceedings, including mediation, family relations evaluations and hearings before a Special Master.

To arrange an initial consultation, contact us or call us at 203-624-0535. We are available to meet with clients Monday through Friday, from 9 am until 5 pm. We accept Visa and MasterCard.
